Home for the weekend.

I just remembered how I said that I wanted to keep this blog up and going. It's been 2 weeks since my last post, oops! However it is better than what I was doing. Here is what has happened in the last two weeks of my life...

Last weekend I went out to Hickory with some friends, and spent the weekend out there. I rode out there with my friend, Dawn. It was wonderful getting to catch up with her. We don't see each other alot anymore since we are both out of Asheville, and she's a wonderful fire woman. Once we arrived to the house of Brooke (the girl who lives in Hickory) the party began, and had a rockin' good time for the rest of the weekend. We had a wonderful time hanging out, taking pictures, eating food, and hanging out. :) I'm thinking about going out to Hickory sometime to observe in Brooke's class over spring break. :)

Sidenote: Spring break is February 28th through March 4th. I'll be home February 26th through March 6th. It'll be a nice break, but it's too early for my liking. haha. A break is a break though, and I'll take it. haha.

I came home this weekend, and have throughly enjoyed it. My best friend, Megan (who has just recently moved to Charlotte), called, and was like "Hey! I'm coming into town!". I had a slight freak out, because I haven't seen her since December, and what are the chances of us being in the same town, on the same weekend? Very unlikely. So we got together, and went downtown to this precious wine bar downtown. I have never seen anything so cute before. You walk in, and theres a bar, with a lobby, and when you walk around some more there are hundreds and hundreds of books on the shelves (that are also for sale). Precious. Absolutely precious.

At one point while talking, we were talking about how much we love Asheville. It's so very true. Asheville will always be home. I think I've realized just how much I love Asheville while being away from it for the past year. You don't really realize how much you miss something until it's gone. I love Cullowhee, don't get me wrong. But home will always be Asheville. It's a quaint, small, beautiful little mountain town. :) I can't wait to move back here for good in December.

I'm starting to get busy with classes. I have three assignments that I have to work on this weekend. Have I started any of them? Nope. But somehow, some way they will get done. They always do. haha.

That's all for this post y'all. Have a wonderful day!
